Position Title: Accounting Specialist

Job Duties/Description:

The Accounting Specialist will support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, with a focus on providing accurate and timely accounting support. Key responsibilities include:

Accounts Payable:

• Process accounts payable transactions and reconcile vendor statements.
• Enter and process payments for specific vendors.
• Upload invoices and manage documentation using various systems and customer portals.

Accounts Receivable:

• Manage the customer credit and rebill process.
• Issue product return credits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Provide customers with invoice copies, credits, and statements.
• Utilize Avalara CertCapture to manage customer sales taxability.
• Reconcile AT&T SPEED payments and address related inquiries.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with new account setup and ensure accurate records.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and support cross-functional projects.
• Provide general administrative support for accounting tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Handle occasional receptionist duties, including phone coverage.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting (Accounts Payable/Receivable).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and Avalara CertCapture is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
• Self-sufficient, confident, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM (onsite, no remote option).
