Accounts Receivables Specialist summary:

Responsible for processing and reconciling account receivables and remittances, addressing any payment issues. Cooperate with customers as needed for missing remittances or information to properly apply payments.

Accounts Receivables Specialist duties and responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to collect payments and efficiently manage working capital.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to understand and address their needs for processing payments or securing them. 
• Gather and forward appropriate remittance details to the cash team to ensure accurate application of payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide updates on orders, payments, pricing, credit, and other inquiries to customers and stakeholders.
• Occasionally handle cash application tasks, such as processing credit card payments for outstanding invoices.
• Communicate with internal teams, like sales representatives, to explain issues such as order holds, customer unavailability, or payment delays.
• Offer quick solutions and next steps for inquiries from drivers, KAR, customers, and sales teams regarding terms, pricing, and credits.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to collect necessary information and share outcomes effectively.

Accounts Receivables Specialist preferred experience:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in an Accounts Receivable role 
• Professional experience in B2B collections 
• Accounting software experience is preferred 
• High school diploma
