Advanced Software Engineer - SDA

Scottsdale, AZ

Contract Position

Senior Advanced Software Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space Company. In this job you will Develop and deploy the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Responsibilities:

• Summary: Develop and deploy advanced ground operational systems, collaborating across teams to ensure technical excellence.
• Perform requirements analysis, system design, integration, and testing under the guidance of the lead systems engineer.
• Conduct technical planning, cost/risk analyses, and customer requirements analysis to support system development.
• Develop systems and networks that meet governmental security specifications, and provide accreditation/certification support.
• Engage in modeling, simulation, and data analysis to assess design feasibility.
• Contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of technical platforms, ensuring compatibility across hardware/software systems.
• Identify and resolve system design challenges, working closely with senior internal teams and program management.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Clearance:
  • U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Technical Expertise:
  • DevSecOps experience with platforms/tools such as AWS, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • CI/CD pipeline development and test automation experience.
  • Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, testing, and operations experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile philosophies and processes.
