The Ecommerce Compliance Group within Walmart is responsible for defining, enforcing and promoting policies, programs and products to ensure safe transactions and create trust perception across our online and marketplace businesses.

The position is responsible for reviewing internal and external item reports, conducting monitoring/QA for accuracy, analyzing item data and helping to develop rules to enforce policies. This role will partner with various teams including Ecommerce Compliance, Policy Governance, Merchant and Retail teams, Operations, Corporate Affairs and Product.

An ideal candidate is highly customer focused and is a detail-oriented, self-starter. We are looking for a cross-functional, team player to support and assist in item risk management that operates with a sense of urgency, is comfortable working in a dynamic online environment with shifting business needs and

changing requirements.

Job Description

• Monitor site and ensure item compliance with established polices and guidelines
• Triage and respond to internal reports on items, this includes escalating item or rule issues, taking action on items, or providing feedback to enhance controls
• Monitor item reports for trends or developing risks to the site, this may include analysis of internal item data reports, or reviewing news stories/social media trends for item trends
• Conduct monitoring/QA on completed item reviews for action accuracy
• Identifying gaps and areas for rule enhancements, troubleshooting and analyzing item data to identify the root cause of an issue, or analyzing results in order to measure effectiveness of rules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in security, investigations, operational management, compliance, legal, privacy, or related field.
• Experience in excel and data analysis

• High degree of initiative and deadline oriented
• Experience working with teams in different time zones and cultures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eCommerce, retail and customer service, compliance, or content review/moderation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at a variety of levels
• Resourceful and intellectually curious mentality, not afraid to dig into issues or projects
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow and Salesforce
• Familiar and comfortable working in gray areas or dealing with offensive content
• Pop culture nerd or avid online shopper a plus
