JOB DESCRIPTION

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under general supervision, performs Artificial Lift (AL) installations and pulls, routine checks, and troubleshooting.
• Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of ALs.
• Performs basic well production analysis and repair of AL equipment and tests, splices, and repairs cable. .
• Complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Train and mentor lower-level technicians at the well site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
• Basic knowledge of SCADA communication
• Basic knowledge troubleshooting and repairing artificial lift equipment (Gas lift, ESP, Plunger)
• Mechanically inclined and organized.
• Good written and verbal communication
• Understanding of well optimization techniques and theories
• Ability to multitask.
