Volt is Immediately hiring for an Assistant Controller in Colorado Springs, CO.

As an Assistant Controller you will:

  • Preparing monthly financials
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts
  • Monthly work papers
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • Monthly journal entries
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Daily bank adjustment entries
  • Cash Forecast
  • Job costing (Cost sheets)
  • Invoicing - backup
  • Accounts Payable - backup
  • Sales Tax preparation
  • Payroll and Accrued Payroll journal entry
  • Accounts Receivable
This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5PM

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in preparing monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement), including preparation and processing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, producing monthly supporting work-papers, reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Experience in Job Costing, Invoicing and Accounts Payable
  • Previous Supervisory experience a plus
  • Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
