As an Associate Manager for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), you'll provide overall direction and leadership on the IDI tool across the enterprise. You will work hands on to drive transformational change, help to create and execute an agile intercultural strategy that is able to adapt to the emerging needs and trends of diversity, equity and inclusion.<br><br>This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.<br><br>What you'll do<ul><li>Maintain strong awareness of global diversity issues and trends, informing strategic outcomes.</li><li>Team management to provide guidance and support, ensuring smooth operations and team cohesion. </li><li>Enterprise management of the IDI account while leading and facilitating Best Buy's Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) global initiatives. </li><li>Establish a feedback loop to regularly capture employee development on intercultural strengths and opportunities, ensuring a continuous improvement approach. </li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive IDI strategies, initiatives, and action plans that align with Best Buy's values and business goals.</li></ul>Basic qualifications<ul><li>1 year of Intercultural Development Inventory certification and facilitation experience </li><li>Subject matter expert and strong knowledge on relevant and industry-standard Diversity and Inclusion best practices, external trends, insights, content and culture </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications<ul><li>IDI Certification as a qualified administrator (QA)</li><li>1 year of people leadership</li><li>3 years of experience and expertise in diversity and Inclusion</li><li>2 years of a proven track record of implementing innovative diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs that result in tangible outcomes.</li><li>1 year of project management experience leading, coordinating, implementing and executing projects from start to completion.</li></ul>What's in it for you<br><br>We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
