Facility: AU Medical Center, Inc.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Director, the Clinic Operations Coordinator assists the Manager/Director in monitoring and evaluating the daily operations and workflow in the practice site. Responsibilities include efficient coordination of patient flow, maintaining provider clinic schedules in system, monitoring environmental conditions, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory. Coordinates patient care workflow to help facilitate a positive patient care experience and maximize provider productivity. Coordinates medical record needs, specialized medical equipment needs, and ancillary testing needs. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and upholds Customer Service and Patient and Family-Centered Care standards.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in healthcare or related field. 3 or more years of healthcare clinic operations, experience utilizing an electronic medical record. Additional years or relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Experience with computers. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
