RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client located in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Developer (Java/React).Responsibilities:- Design and help other engineers, leadership is important
- Coach members of the team, driving stories with product owner
- 70% leading the team; 30% hands-on coding
- Break work down for engineering team, conduct peer code review
- Manage stakeholder communication
- Lead code sessions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 8+ years experience working with Java and minimum 3+ years working with React
- Must have 6+ years working with AWS cloud tools
- Must understand observability concepts.
- Experienced in reviewing and contributing to technical architecture and design patterns.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with leading teams and stakeholder communication
- Architecture/design pattern experience
- Distributed architecture design experience
- Technical AWS architecture experience
- Understand VPC lower level cloud
- Understand how to setup AWS, the considerations for green fielding some
- Microservices experience - Spring Boot
- Experience in BPMN workflow application is a strong nice to have but not necessary
- Microservices Architecture experience within AWS - Kafka SNS
- Messaging experience is a must (there is a lot of messaging in their stack)
- Lambdas experience - someone who knows Signal FX, Splunk; They have a monolith they are actively working to break up, need to understand distributed tracing
- Test Automation, CI/CD experience
- Unit Testing - Junit experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
