Job Description
PositionSummary:
The core responsibility of the Consumer Products Assurance Audit Experienced Auditor is to support the growth of the local Consumer Product Assurance business in audits - primarily social compliance audits - through managing executions in the region and participating as a member of the global audit management team to support audit activities across global markets.
This will involve execution of strategies aligned with the global business plans and strategies to support professional execution of audit services in the United States - including personnel management of assigned resources; attracting new and retaining existing resources; and providing technical support to the global and local teams to execute services. Additionally, the position will require execution of audit services to support positive operating results.
Objectives:
Audit Execution
Experienced Auditor primarily responsible for execution of audit services - across all streams with the majority being social compliance - within Consumer Product Assurance. Employee will be responsible for quality, competency, and integrity management of all assigned staff - including employee and contract auditors. Employee will support implementation of global audit strategy related to the audit service streams providing subject matter expertise required to profitably develop the business.
In addition to operational management elements, the Experienced Auditor will support the operating results of the business through the execution of audit services - initially based on 10 billable days per month.
Technical Support and Governance
As a member of the global audit management team, the Experienced Auditor will contribute technical input and perspective to the development of operating procedures and methodologies to ensure audit service delivery capabilities support client service delivery objectives on a global basis - enhancing satisfaction among clients. As a member of the global audit management team, the manager will support inquiries and provides subject matter expertise to support audit service delivery in key execution markets.
Market Analysis
Continuously research and monitor the Americas market for new market opportunities from an industry sector and service perspective. Develop proposals for enhancing current position in the market and for capitalizing on new market opportunities - including development of service extensions and new service offerings. Ensure integrated approach with global audit strategy and global CPA objectives.
Customer Service
Provide customer support as the audit service stream program managers for selected large global accounts and collaborative programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Audit Execution
- Manage all elements of audit execution within the United States including scheduling; auditor assignment; audit execution; and reporting consistent with established standard operating procedures.
- Identify, engage and develop audit staff to support all audit service streams in the United States.
- Support and ensure the effective and timely resolution of subject matter issues and problems related to audit executions in the United States whether internal or client based.
- Ensure compliance with all APSCA requirements for audit operations and support the development and certification of social compliance auditors consistent with APSCA requirements
- Support application of global quality and integrity management efforts with the United States operations.
Technical Support and Governance
- Work with global counterparts in CPA audit management team on the development and implementation of audit related services to meet client and market expectations.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of the delivery of CPA audit services though support for the continuous improvement of operating procedures and methodologies to ensure service delivery capabilities support client service delivery objectives on a global basis.
- Provide subject matter support for the effective and timely resolution of issues and problems with audits related in other key sourcing markets beyond the United States whether internal or client based.
- Monitor changes in market drivers - including industry-based initiatives - to ensure client services are consistent with current market dynamics.
Market Analysis
- Assess market intelligence on the market for technical audit services including market trends, market share and profitability analysis. Develop proposals for enhancing current position in existing markets and for exploiting new market opportunities - including development of service extensions and new service offerings - to grow the business generated from or in the region.
- Monitor changes in market dynamics and trends related to audit services providing assessments and recommendations on future courses of action for the CPA audit service practice, Eurofins CPA, and clients.
QualificationsKey SkillsSubject Matter
- Significant knowledge of audit subject matter - particularly social audits, service delivery methodologies for audit services and the demonstrated ability to implement them
- General knowledge of risk management, auditing, and process management consulting concepts and the demonstrated ability to implement them
Client interaction- Demonstrated ability to work with clients and facilities to be audited, understand their requirements, define and assist in solving problems, and generally ensure client's total satisfaction with Eurofins
Management/Leadership
- Problem solving skills including the ability to lead groups of diverse people through a problem-solving process
- Effective oral and written communications skills including professional English presentation
- Ability to deliver presentations to in-house and client/vendor audiences

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Education/Experience (BMQ) :Bachelors or advanced degree in Business, Finance or a related field of study.
At least 5 years' experience in professional services and/or auditing.
At least 3years' experience managing teams of professionals.
