In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:The Herbarium Curator oversees and maintains the acquisition, classifying, and cataloging of historical and modern collections of plant specimens for the Herbarium. This individual also oversees preparation of plant specimens, typically performed by student employees and volunteers. The Curator maintains specimen records and databases and interacts with other members of the Museum staff on curatorial matters and contributes to broader Museum initiatives. This position will also teach appropriate coursework in EEOB and provide outreach to the scientific and local communities.
Required: Master's degree in plant systemics or related field. Four years of experience in plant identification and plant curation methods. Experience in teaching and specimen databasing practices.

The pay range for this job profile is $51,000- $67,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
