In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:The Veterinary Medical Center at The Ohio State University is searching for a Supply Coordinator that works across the Veterinary Medical Center Satellite Campuses in Columbus and Dublin Ohio to supply, organize and performs storeroom work in the receipt, inspection, and verification of incoming materials and equipment; assists with resolving discrepancies of received goods vs. original order; distributes materials within the buildings; stocks merchandise, maintains control of inventory such as office supplies, forms, and pet food, medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Analyzes inventory data and works with Associate Director of Satellite Facilities to control expenses and stock. Maintains Cubex cabinets. Assists with the maintenance of biohazard infectious waste refuse and appropriate records; assists with maintenance of linens & scrubs and other related duties; works 40 hours per week coordinating schedule with supervisor. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education - 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Experience - Experience in a hospital setting or veterinary hospital setting preferred; experience with inventory, stocking, shipping and receiving preferred.
Hiring Range - $17.31-$22.76 per hour
Additional Information:Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time, pushing/pulling/lifting up to 75 pounds on a regular basis, climbing a ladder, stooping to stock shelves, using hands to empty boxes, exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases, and exposure to needle sticks, hazardous chemicals, and/or bio hazardous waste. Work involves risks which require special safety precautions, e.g. handling cleaning supplies, biohazard waste and various gases.
