RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Tukwila, WA.Responsibilities:- Data Analyst will create data profiling methods that can be applied to variety of data structures and be leveraged by data analysts, stewards and custodians for self-service data profiling
- Build data profiles for enterprise data assets as part of DGO oversight activities or assigned projects. Identify insights from the profiles and review them with stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining data quality metrics for enterprise data assets based on the business rules coordinated by the Data Governance team
- Create and maintain data quality monitoring of identified data quality metrics for enterprise data assets; Work closely with data stewards to identify the best frequency for measuring quality
- Assist with maintaining a centralized DGO dashboard summarizing the status of data governance and data quality for enterprise data assets
- As a Data Analyst, you will design data cleansing procedures and scripts in partnerships with business units functional areas, and the Technology department to ensure that data quality issues are implemented in source systems
- Demonstrate the DGO operating model to data stewards and data community to enable them to implement data quality practices in a self-service manner
- Actively administer functionality of data governance and data quality tools; Deliver training and answer questions from data stewards about tool functionality and usage
- Data Lineage
- Working with the Business/Stakeholders on Requirements and what is critical data
- Ingesting the data catalog (Microsoft Purview)
- Overall Data Quality Management
- Working within the Snowflake environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
