Job Purpose

American Products is currently seeking Deburr Technicians to join our team! We are growing rapidly, and are looking for dedicated, hard-working people seeking career opportunities. We offer paid tuition, a generous paid time off package and a safety-first work environment.

Our Deburr Technicians play an important role on the American Products production team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.
• Inspect work pieces to conform to customer specs.
• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Deburr any imperfections on finished products.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; not required.

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• At least one year experience in deburr or grinding preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend blue prints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.
