Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, detail-oriented and driven individual for our Marketing Internship.
In this position, you will be assisting the team responsible for digital marketing, including but not limited to, advertising, social media, analytics, reporting and more. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that will require learning and flexibility with an agile team. A strong interest in digital marketing and measuring results is recommended. The ideal candidate will be reliable and self-motivated.

As a Marketing Intern, a typical day might include the following:

• Supporting the Digital Marketing team with advertising, social media, SEO, email, marketing automation, scheduling, analytics, reporting and more.
  
• Taking on day-to-day functions, including invoicing, and social media maintenance.
  
• Collaborating with the team and partners to understand and improve global marketing efforts and assess internal and external needs.
  
• Assisting with reporting and analytics.
  
• Becoming certified in relevant digital marketing skills.
  
• Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World-Class Manufacturing principles.
  
• Understanding. Creating. Simplifying.
  

This job might be for you if:

• You are a current student studying Marketing, Business, or Communication at an accredited institution in the Pullman/Moscow area.
  
• You are able to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer.
  
• You are able to maintain confidentiality.
  
• You have strong computer, writing/proofreading, and organization skills.
  
• You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  
• You are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  
• You are able to work independently and take initiative.
  
• You have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
  
• You have negative drug test result(s).
  

Location
This position is based in our Pullman, WA headquarters. You'll enjoy Pullman if you enjoy vibrant college towns and abundant access to the pacific northwest's world class outdoor recreation areas while still having easy access to larger metro areas. Pullman is home to one of Washington State's top school districts and enjoys beautiful 4 seasons.
