As a Digital Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing business via outbound calls to small and medium sized businesses that are current potential shipping clients or account holders. You will also be tasked with acquiring volume from new customers through fact finding, qualifying businesses, and engaging in conversations with owners and decision makers. To equip you for success, you will receive sales education and training as well as ongoing coaching and support.
Essential Functions
- Develops new business and grows revenue by identifying potential new customers, conducting background research on potential customers, discussing the customer's supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate customer representatives, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer's business and supply chain through research and customer interaction, analyzing customer needs and developing and implementing solutions.
- Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams, such as sales counterparts as well as other internal partners to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
- Regularly engages with customers to ensure customer understanding of service offerings and to maximize customer utilization of products and services.
- Takes initiative to lead internal teams and demonstrates organization, discipline, and adaptability
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent or four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience or two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.
Minimum Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to travel overnight as required.
Job Conditions Moderate travel required.
Preferred Qualifications: Successfully leveraging technology (MS Suite, CRM, video conferencing) to maximize the impact of communication and to effectively research and engage aligned accounts
