As a member of the Market Excellence team, our Director Commercial Market Excellence will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to sales leaders - all in service of making our members' health journeys easier

What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales performance analysis, sales operations, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability through data-driven decision making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large datasets and complex analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with sales performance management tools, such as Salesforce.com, and analytics platforms, such as Tableau or Power BI.
What You Will Do at Cambia: Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of analysts and performance program managers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped to meet business objectives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Develop and maintain a robust analytics framework to provide sales leaders with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to drive results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Design and implement metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure sales performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
- Distribution Strategy & Producer Performance:
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and sales data to inform distribution strategy and optimize sales channel performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness across various distribution channels.
- Analyze producer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop programs and incentives to improve performance.
Pipeline Management:
- Develop and maintain data-driven pipeline management processes to ensure accurate forecasting, opportunity identification, and sales stage management.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to develop strategies to improve pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and deal closure.
- Partnerships and Collaboration:
- Partner with sales leaders and the business to develop sales tools, technical training, and go-to-market strategies that drive results.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and sales teams to drive the health of our self-funded business, ensuring alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights are integrated into business decisions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans to support sales performance and effectiveness initiatives.
- You bring unique value to our community of 200 leaders running our company. By actively engaging with your peers and inspiring your teams, you play an essential role in making health care easier and lives better.
The expected hiring range for a Director Commercial Market Excellence is $159,800-216,200 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 25%. The current full salary range for this role is $150,000-245,000.
