Your Role
As the Head of CTS Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and execution of data initiatives across the organization and will lead a talented group of 25 individuals. This role offers a unique opportunity to transform our data landscape, define an aspirational end-state, and guide projects towards a cohesive, optimized future state aligned with CTS Strategic objectives. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, including Operational Technology, Data Engineering, Master Data, and Business Intelligence, collaborate with various stakeholders, to harness data as a strategic asset for operational excellence, decision-making, and new revenue generation.You will develop a comprehensive data strategy, oversee the entire data life cycle, and drive innovation in data utilization. You will be required to engage, drive and work with various technical and functional teams and individuals at all levels of a large distributed and matrixed organization. Your work will directly and visibly contribute to enabling our transformation.
Location: Preferred Rockville, MD or Burlington, MA, USA
Travel: Between 10-20% depending on above location, International and Domestic
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with minimum 8 years in Data Management, IT/OT, Digital Transformation roles and at least 5 years at the director level in the biotech / pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience leading global dispersed multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven track record (inc. Hands-on experience) in building new Data Practices or leading significant transformations of existing practices or complex projects to success, building, managing, and scaling data teams across multiple geographies, including influencing partners within varied levels, and functional areas, in a matrixed organization.
- Deep practitioner and hands-on experience in data strategy, data architecture & engineering patterns and/or data science & machine learning methodologies such as:
- data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM) and compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- building data pipelines and utilizing ETL tools, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions
- business intelligence and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau,..)
- master data management platforms and architecting data domains•
- Familiarity with the following disciplines: machine learning, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, bayes theorem
- Familiarity with analytics platforms
- Technical Community Presence - Must have built a network of relationships
- Strong grasp of modern data architecture, data modeling techniques, and best practices for data governance.
- A proven track record of success in the structured and rigorous planning, execution and timely delivery of enterprise level projects and programs inc. developing, maintaining, and meeting KPI.
- Working knowledge of cGMP's and pharmaceutical industry procedures and regulations.
Pay Range for this position: $109,400 - $328,200
Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
