JOB DESCRIPTION

It's a great time to join Farm Credit of Florida as we continue to grow! Now hiring a Director of Credit Risk Management who will be responsible for designing, maintaining and monitoring the Association's credit risk management policies, procedures and processes to ensure efficient, compliant and sustainable operations. The Director of Credit Risk Management will also be responsible for overseeing maintaining and enhancing the Association's credit reporting framework.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports the Chief Credit Officer to implement and improve department operations, objectives and goals.
• Works closely with the Director of Credit Administration to design and implement efficient and compliant credit underwriting processes, continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Collaborates with the Chief Risk Officer in implementing the Association's Enterprise Risk Management framework, stress testing and associated reporting.
• Collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer for analysis and reporting related to the Association's allowance for loan losses, management's discussion & analysis for financial reporting, interest rate risk analysis and investment portfolio management.
• Manages the creation, maintenance and implementation of up-to-date credit policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Serves as the primary manager for credit department utilization of technology applications, platforms and models including loan origination & servicing systems, financial spreading tools, profitability models and risk rating models. Works with the Transformational Change Lead during development of new systems.
• Monitors loan portfolio risk and coordinates tracking of asset quality migrations, lending parameters, concentrations and hold limits.
• Designs, coordinates and supervises the reporting of loan portfolio data and credit metrics for use by executive/senior management and the Board of Directors.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience. Master's Degree a plus.

Work Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of credit administration or related experience with a financial institution. Knowledge of the Farm Credit system a plus.
