Beacon Hill Financial is currently recruiting for a 12+ month contract Director of Accounting position with our client in the St. Louis area. This role would be 100% remote, however candidates would go in a couple times a month for onsite meetings and collaborations. Holiday pay, PTO, Quarterly Bonuses, and full benefits are included with this contract. The role will pay $50-$70/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications:
- Blended background or operational controllership and financial analytics
- Big 4 or large regional background experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience
- Problem solver with the ability to think through challenging situations
- Ability to provide down in the weeds operational support to high level strategic oversight

Description:
- Assist with controllership needs/support of some acquired companies
- Oversight of financial close
- Includes financial review and preparation of a few close entries.
- Finance/Accounting perspective on operational changes.
- Implementation of process improvements where possible.
- Facilitate audit requests
- Assist with Finance and Accounting integration needs as necessary
- Partner with finance team on the budgeting process, monthly financial results
- Liaison between business and other financial reporting tools for acquired companies
