Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Cloud Engineering to support a fast-paced and expanding IT environment. As a Director of Cloud Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable cloud solutions.

We value onsite collaboration. This role requires onsite work at our headquarters in Monroe, WI.

Qualifications

This role requires a strong, collaborative communicator with direct leadership experience working with cloud engineering and/or cloud architecture. Proven experience leading the design, development, and deployment of cloud architecture and solutions. Oversight of our Client Experience and IT Operations teams. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 10 years' related IT work experience. In addition, we are looking for:

•10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cloud engineering or similar role.
•Proven experience in leading and managing cloud engineering teams.
•Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
•Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and automation tools.
•Experience managing department budgets and development of business cases to secure funding approval.
•Experience managing vendor relationships.
•Prior experience with on-premise infrastructure either as a team member or leader of the team.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
