ELECTRICAL-INSTRUMENTATION PLANNER

Where will you work: Onsite at Carlsbad, NM (1361 Potash Mines Road - Carlsbad, NM 88220)

We are currently seeking an Electrical-Instrumentation Planner at our Carlsbad, NM location. The selected candidate will be required to work with the electrical-instrumentation and electrical engineering departments in the development of safe precision job plans for all electrical work including High Voltage.

What you'll do?

• Ensure regulatory, corporate, and site safety and environmental standards are being followed by conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping tours.
• Planning, scheduling, and work management. This includes working with supervisors, employees, and contractors to plan and coordinate jobs.
• Set up and maintain preventative, predictive, and asset management programs.
• MRO and Material Management. This includes sourcing parts, dealing with vendors, and managing inventory levels.
• Resource allocation, backlog, and contractor management.
• Cost control and services. This includes participation in Continuous Improvement initiatives to attain efficiency and cost control.

What you'll need:

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Must be familiar with all electrical PPE for said High Voltage.
• Must have working knowledge of electricity.
• Electrical problem troubleshooting is a plus.
• Candidate will be put on a weekend call rotation and will be required to take weekend maintenance calls when their turn comes up.
• Electrical background is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Computer Maintenance Management Systems, Scheduling Tools. SAP, PI, Kronos experience preferred.
• Good communication skills, effective interpersonal and influencing skills, respect of peers and colleagues.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug, and alcohol testing.
• Must be authorized to work in USA.
