RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Sparks, NV that is seeking an Electrical Superintendent.Summary:Our notable Automotive and Energy company is looking for an Electrical Construction Superintendent to support the construction of the new ground up Semi truck manufacturing facility that requires exceptional talent. It requires commitment is that you bring in your passion for advancing energy sustainability, your desire to work on difficult problems pushing the limits, your willingness to value team success beyond your own, and your unwavering positive attitude towards sustained hard work.Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including direct hire and subcontractors
- Develop execution plans including detailed schedule
- Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel and Project Manager
- Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to management
- Develop and communicate logistics and other operational plans, as necessary
- Maintain a safe, clean, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate quality control inspections
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (MS preferred) or related 10+ years of field experience, or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Superintendent on $50M+ industrial or commercial facility construction
- Electrical: Experience supervising electrical scopes, 480V and under, including understanding of wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, single-line drawings and schematics
- Electrical: Knowledge of the NEC
- Mechanical: Proven experience in the areas of process piping, wet and dry systems, plumbing and other mechanical systems associated with manufacturing facilities
- Mechanical: Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards, including ASTM, ASHRAE and ASME
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
