JOB DUTIES::

**Location flexible, this position can be remote.**

This position will be responsible for network transport design in the Tristate Submarket, primarily focusing on network configurations and IP assignments.

These responsibilities are essential to providing the Network Assurance teams with all requirements needed to stay on track with 4G/5G cell integrations and activations. Additionally, this role will be responsible for design and support of hub to MSC backhaul and interMSC transport using multiple vendors, both lit and dark services, microwave, and DWDM technologies.

As part of the businesss cost saving efforts, this role will also monitor trunking, identify potential disconnect opportunities and issue disconnect orders to various carriers.

Secondary responsibilities will include supporting network projects such as new cell build program, frequency carrier add growth, circuit conversions, bandwidth upgrades.

This individual will also be tracking network projects as it pertains to the facilities team such as path diversification, cost reduction initiatives, equipment decommissioning, and facility migrations

Knowledge of Ciena, Nokia and Tellabs equipment is essential to provide troubleshooting support throughout the network.
