Job Description
- Environmental monitoring of classified areas including incubation of samples, reading of results, reporting, and approving data. Environmental monitoring activities include but are not limited to contact plates, settle plates, viable/non-viable counts, microbial ID testing, and operator monitoring.
- Train staff on environmental monitoring procedures
- Act as a technical resource for junior team members
- General laboratory operations (ordering supplies, preparing buffers/mobile phase/culture media, operating laboratory equipment, participation in quality and safety assessments, sample receipt, notebook data authoring/review/integrity following good documentation practices)
- Trending of data for quarterly reports and investigating EM excursions including OOS results.
- General laboratory maintenance (user-accessible equipment, lab organization, and cleanliness)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, or other related degree concentration,
- Two years of directly relevant experience with environmental monitoring in a clean room environment
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
