The Role:
As the Director of Information Systems, you will provide strategic vision and leadership in advancing ETS's IS capabilities. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, fostering innovation, and ensuring that IS initiatives support operational excellence, sustainability, and business growth. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will lead a global IS organization and play a critical role in shaping the future of technology within ETS.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for innovative, secure and cost-effective IS solutions aligned with ETS's business goals.
• Lead the digital transformation agenda by integrating emerging technologies such as IoT, Connected Factory and Products, AI, predictive analytics, and process automation to enhance business outcomes.
• Shape and drive the vision for Business Applications, ensuring systems like ERP, CRM, and other critical platforms meet business demands.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the ETS IS organization.

Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day IS operations, ensuring high service levels, robust governance, and compliance with global standards.
• Manage IS talent acquisition, development, and performance within a diverse global team.
• Drive the execution of PMO-led projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
• Implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.

Application and Infrastructure Management:

• Provide leadership for the design and management of application architecture to ensure scalability, flexibility, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead the deployment and optimization of ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs.
  Ensure resilience and security in all application landscapes in collaboration with Spirax Group IT.

Data, Analytics, and AI:

• Establish and execute a comprehensive data strategy, including master data management (MDM), data governance, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Leverage AI and machine learning to deliver actionable insights, improve decision-making, and enhance customer and operational outcomes.
• Champion data accessibility and visualization tools to empower business users with real-time insights.

Automation:

• Drive the adoption of automation technologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to implement Smart Factory initiatives, including IoT integration, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring.
• Ensure IS supports innovative manufacturing technologies that enhance production efficiency and sustainability.

Business Partnering:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify technology-driven solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights into technology trends and their potential impact on the business.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders to shape the IS strategy and roadmap.

Sustainability and ESG:

• Champion IS initiatives that contribute to ETS's sustainability goals, including reducing the environmental impact of IS operations and enabling more energy-efficient manufacturing processes.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage a strategic IS budget, ensuring alignment with business priorities and a focus on optimizing cost-effectiveness.
• Provide transparent financial reporting and investment justifications for IS initiatives.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience (7+ years) with ERP, CRM, and IT infrastructure management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven success in a senior IS leadership role within a global, multi-region organization.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and process automation.
• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to align IS capabilities with business objectives.
• Experience in cybersecurity frameworks and data protection compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Expertise in data analytics, AI, and machine learning to drive insights and decision-making.
• Proven track record in leading automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Track record of fostering high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
