The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive executive administration support to the VP of Americas Manufacturing and leading or assisting with selected projects and activities within the manufacturing organization.

This position is part of the Operations Department and will be located onsite in Lodi, CA. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management; process expense reports in SAP Concur in a timely manner; record actions from daily management meetings and assist with following up on work completion; prepare reports, presentations, and data; and maintain files, records, and correspondence.

  • Manage all travel, including close coordination with various groups locally and internationally, visa preparation, organization of ground transportation, hotel reservations, conference reservations, catering needs, etc. This will also require the flexibility and agility to navigate and resolve unexpected travel updates if/when schedules change before and during trips.

  • Act as the point of contact between the executive and internal or external colleagues; hold responsibility for all logistics of both large and small meetings, including conference room reservations, teleconference & video conference set-up, catering, and associated meeting logistics, including related social activities.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of related experience

  • Excellent computer skills using Windows and MS Office, which includes Outlook (e-mail and calendar management), Word, Excel, Teams, Co-pilot, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication skills, including text and email with the ability to respond timely with professionalism in verbal and written communications with all levels of the organization

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel - 5%

The hourly range for this role is $48 - $55 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
