The Role

The selected candidate will operate various bridge and gantry cranes. Candidates should possess the ability to perform basic math skills to include simple area, volume, weight calculations and center of gravity. Must be able to learn universal hands signals for proper crane operation.

Sign on Bonus based on Years of Experience:

1-5 years experience $2500 Sign on Bonus

6+ years experience $5000 Sign on Bonus

Current HII employees are not eligible for bonus

Must Have

Candidates must able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces.

Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb.

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Must be able to perform overhead work.

Must take and pass a respirator fit test.

Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.

Experienced candidates must have 1+ years experience (min) in crane operations.

Nice to Have

High school graduate or equivalent. Must have the ability to perform basic math skills to include simple area, volume, weight calculations and center of gravity. Experience in one or more of the type cranes listed above with a capacity greater than 10 ton
