Facility Maintenance Expeditor

Store Support Center

We are searching for an experienced Facility Maintenance Expeditor for our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA
SUMMARY: This role involves coordinating and dispatching maintenance vendors for preventive maintenance, repairs, and compliance issues at Chedraui USA (El Super, Fiesta Mart, Smart & Final) stores and both Citadel corporate and Houston facilities. The Coordinator will also be responsible for reconciling and processing invoices, issuing purchase orders for capital expenses related to facility maintenance, and utilizing Corrigo software for invoice processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and dispatch assigned maintenance vendors of all trades to perform preventive maintenance, general maintenance, building repairs, equipment repairs, refrigeration repairs, government compliance issues, CAM services, and utility issues at Chedraui USA stores and corporate facilities.
  • Create and prioritize work orders for all maintenance activities.
  • Reconcile invoices from vendors and suppliers for facility maintenance expenses.
  • Process invoices using Corrigo software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Issue purchase orders for capital and operating expenses associated with facility maintenance projects.
  • Support and track costs associated with the maintenance budget.
  • Follow up and communicate with stores via email and/or phone to ensure maintenance issues have been resolved satisfactorily and in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide management with appropriate reports as necessary.
  • Provide Tutenlabs site support to stores and all facilities.
  • Provide miscellaneous administrative support to management.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience in coordinating facility maintenance activities, reconciling invoices, and processing purchase orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP).
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and purchase order management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with specific experience using Corrigo or similar software.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Accounting, or related field preferred.

COMPENSATION: The starting rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.
