The Account Specialist (U.S. Foodservice) will be part of a dedicated support team to one of Circana's biggest restaurant clients. The Field Insights analyst handles the day-to-day servicing and is focused on bringing insights to the field marketing team within the U.S. business. The work encompasses managing a proprietary product, building and nurturing relationships, compiling reports/deliverables, analyzing data, developing analyses in Excel and PowerPoint, problem solving, participating in client meetings, contributing to revenue goals, and increasing Circana's overall value with the client.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work location - a mix of days per week on-site at client offices (Chicago, IL - West Loop/Fulton Market) and the rest of the week either working remotely or at Circana's offices (Chicago, IL).
Overall Responsibilities:
- Use analytical mindset and a passion for working with large volumes of data to transform database output from multiple proprietary data sources into user-friendly Excel data tables, PowerPoint analyses, flat files and pivot tables.
- Manage high-priority proprietary product and learn nuances to maintain value, use and drive strategic enhancements.
- Build and nurture relationships with client contacts, partnering with clients in multiple functions including insights, strategy, and menu.
- Master the format and structure of multiple databases, maintain custom definitions, review and clean output, and ensure accurate and consistent labels from database-to-database.
- Manage several concurrent analytic projects that involve collecting and consolidating data, which requires strong organizational skills.
- Accurately interpret data and clearly articulate findings and insights to internal and external audiences in written and verbal formats for presentations or other business needs.
- Become a go-to resource on Circana's product offering, especially those specific to the client's local needs.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, discovering insights, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Able to work successfully in a hybrid environment, managing relationships remotely and on-site at both our company and client's offices.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary software/database applications.
- Ability to mine large volumes of data, turning it into actionable and accurate insight through storytelling
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
- An independent thinker, inquisitive, collaborative, adaptable, and accountable.
- Proficient in all MS Office products, with advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint.
- Experience with panel-based buyer measurement/point-of-sale data a plus.
- BA/BS or equivalent preferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The salary range for this role is $52,900 to $63,000.
