RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client within the banking industry that is looking to hire a Financial Analyst II to join their team in Cambridge, MA. This is a stable and excellent industry, that can provide career longevity and stability. Excellent benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, 401(k) match, etc. This position is scheduled as on-site.Duties:- Conduct financial analysis and research to help make informed decisions on investments, acquisitions or other financial opportunities
- Financial Analyst II will prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to management and stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators such as revenue, expenses and profitability
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support decision making process
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to all financial reporting systems
- As a Financial Analyst II, you will collaborate with other departments and teams to provide financial support and guidance
- Participate in special projects or initiatives as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent through specialized coursework and training
- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, banking preferred
- Proficient accounting software skills, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills - clearly communicate and recommend to management, investors and other stakeholders both verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills- ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem - solving skills, identify and research potential solutions and make recommendations for addressing financial issues
- Industry knowledge - a strong understanding of the industry in which the company operates, including key competitors, market trends and regulatory issues
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
