Position Summary:

A Fortune 1000 Company in the global manufacturing space is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to manage technicl accounting, reporting, and analysis processes. This position is ideal for someone looking to become a Controller down the line.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information, including consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain compliance with reporting standards and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Develop and implement reporting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Prepare financial presentations and analysis for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Stay current with new technical accounting standards, reporting regulations, and industry practices; advise the team on their impact.
• Oversee, train, and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
• Prepare benefit plan financial statements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
• 4+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA is a plus
