Responsibilities* Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
* Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
* Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
* Moving heavy towel bins.
* Assist with Flowrider tickets
* Distributing towels to and from guest.
* Assist with cabana reservations
* Knowledgeable/ able to schedule Parakeet Club reservations.
* Maintain complete knowledge of All resort facilities/services, hours of operation.
* Access all functions of computer system including opentable, pos for flowrider, retail and kids camp
* Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, using correct salutations and professional telephone etiquette.
* Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone or in person.
* Ascertain callers' needs through open-ended questions.
* Obtain all designated information to book a reservation.
* Accommodate special requests and designate such in system.
* Access guest history records to best service guests; maintain accurate information in guest history files..
* Verify availability. Suggest alternate sections for sold-out sections.
* Explain cancellation policies to guests.
Qualifications
- Current certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues when necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and stamina to meet the demands of the role
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
