Job Details:

This is a 3rd shift position, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays & Sundays as needed. Applicants should be open to working on weekends and holidays as necessary. Additional compensation is provided for the 6th and 7th workdays.

SUMMARY: This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include: production paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; responsible for Team Member food safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred - Food Science or related field, ideal
• 3 years food processing experience preferred
• 1 year management experience preferred
• 1 year experience with food safety and quality programs preferred
• Familiar with USDA/FSIS and/or FDA labeling policies and processing requirements, preferred
• HACCP / SQF certification preferred
