Your Role:

The Global Demand Planner is integral to the End-to-End Supply Chain Organization, as it responsible for the execution of the commercial requirements for cell culture media. Job duties include:

  • Manages the demand forecast for the product portfolio globally to sustain product availability, support new product introductions, and evaluates sales and market dynamics. +
  • Works closely with other teams to optimize planning and ensure company has "the right products, at the right quantity, in the right place" to meet our customers' demand.
  • Drives and supports continuous global improvement activities to improve the overall supply chain performance.
  • Participates to establish the processes and appropriate information flows with the main partners: Production Planning, Network Planning, Marketing, and Sales.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other Business field
  • 4 + years of professional experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of managing performance and activities through monitoring of key metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory, and backorders
  • General knowledge of Process Solutions business portfolio and pharmaceuticals
  • Strength in interpersonal relationships, between customers, suppliers, departmental resources, and inter-company contacts
  • Capable of solving complex business issues and develop creative solutions in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and project management skills
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Ability to lead or coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Good knowledge in SAP and well-developed analytical skills
  • Possess a strong business acumen
