Position Overview

Cumulus Media Dallas is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a passion for crafting visually stunning and engaging designs that resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our radio stations to create on-brand visuals that drive audience engagement across platforms
• Develop compelling B2C and B2B campaign creatives that resonate with our advertisers' audience
• Design graphics for web, social media, print, and promotional materials used by our stations to promote events, contests, and programming
• Ensure brand consistency in every project, following design standards
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Creative Strategy and Concept Development

• Brainstorming: Participate in creative brainstorms to develop new design concepts and strategies.
• Concept development: Create original design concepts that align with marketing objectives and target audiences.
• Storyboard creation: Develop storyboards for visual content, such as animated videos or social media campaigns.
• Creativity and innovation: Ability to generate original and innovative design concepts.
• Problem-solving: Capacity to solve design challenges effectively and efficiently.
• Attention to detail: Meticulousness in ensuring accuracy and consistency in designs.
• Time management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new software, techniques, and industry trends.

Digital Design and User Experience (UX)

• UX design: Collaborate with team to ensure that designs are intuitive and provide a positive user experience.
• Email design: Create visually appealing and engaging email templates for marketing campaigns.

Technical Skills

• Software proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Sketch.
• File formats: Understanding of various file formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI) and their appropriate uses.
• Color theory: Knowledge of color theory, including color palettes, harmonies, and psychology.
• Typography: Understanding of typography, including font selection, spacing, and hierarchy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work
• Ability to think creatively and adapt to changing design trends
• Experience in designing for digital, print, social media platforms, and B2C marketing campaigns
