Location: Waco, TX
Description: Our client is currently seeking a HIM Technician in Waco, TX
PM shifts 3pm-11pm
AM shift 8am-4:30pm
Contract Position
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Performs clerical/technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures.
- Incudes the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents
- High School Diploma or GED
- The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties
- Deep understanding of Confidentiality Practices
- High Attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction, comfortable with fast paced change of priority requirements,
- Hospital Experience Preferred
