Human Resource Generalist
Location: Pennsylvania or North Carolina, US (Hybrid reporting to our office twice a week)
Status: Permanent, Full Time

Why are we hiring a HR Generalist?

We are hiring a HR Generalist to support our Global People & Culture Director and the wider People & Culture team. The role is a brand-new position! If you are a HR Generalist that has excellent attention to detail, are committed to deliver, love helping people and love making a difference, then we would love to hear from you.

What to expect?

• You will be the point of contact for all our US employees, handling all employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Conducting or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Providing new hire orientation and assisting with employee recognition programs.
• Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Maintaining compliance and submitting mandatory reporting with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Preparing and maintaining the US Employee Handbook
• Assisting with global People & Culture initiatives and administration
• Maintaining electronic personnel files
• Payroll administration as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Experience with ADP TotalSource would be a plus & also experience with Cornerstone would be a plus - but are not essential.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP is a plus.
