Location: Valdosta, GA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a HR Generalist for a major manufacturing company located in Greater Valdosta.

Salary$65-70k+bonus

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day employee relations support and performance counseling.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of all HR policies and practices.
• Address and resolve employee concerns or issues.
• Communicate effectively to increase employee engagement and morale.
• Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives.
• Partner with management on HR communication, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Manage payroll processing, time and attendance, benefits administration, and compensation.
• Deliver and manage training programs.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports.
• Recruit for open positions, including reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
• Participate in employee relations investigations (as needed).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PHR or SPHR certification a plus, but not required.
• Proven ability to demonstrate leadership behaviors and partner effectively within a dynamic business setting.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
