Job Description Summary
Responsible to provide day to day support to the GIE organization. Work with local management to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures. Provide support in the areas of succession planning, talent reviews and organizational development.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide support to the GIE organization on all the Human Resources aspects.
  • Ensure succession planning process is executed at a site level.
  • Lead the performance and compensation year end process for the manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and implement Human Resources practices and programs that support the accomplishment of short and long-range business objectives and address identified employee needs. Support VoA (engagement survey) process.
  • Ensures every site has a Talent Management strategy aligned to Corporate and make sure leads the deployment of the corporate development program.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and local legislations, and company policies.
  • Periodically audit systems, records, and programs. Insure effective employee activity and communications programs are in place and utilized at the office.
  • All projects and duties as assigned.


Education, Experience, and Capabilities Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resource/Business Administration.
  • 6+ year general HR management experience, with minimum 4 to 5 years' experience in talent management.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills (English/Spanish).
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to function at all levels across multiple organizations.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Attention to detail, high level of initiative and motivation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team oriented and matrix work environment.
  • Experience managing Workday, preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
