Summary:
Supervises the daily activities of assigned Imaging staff. ***Will accept Mammography or Breast Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of supervisor or lead technologist is acceptable, 3 years of supervisor experience is preferred.***
Responsibilities:
Orders supplies and maintains appropriate inventory level in accordance with established budget.Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.Assists with the preparation of the operational capital budget under the guidance of Imaging leadership.Trains, coaches, and evaluates staff performance and sets expectations.Coordinates patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Performs staff responsibilities, as needed, to fulfill required service levels.Leads service recovery efforts regarding complex patient issues and complaints to facilitate resolution.Develops and implements action plans to meet and exceed performance improvement and safety initiatives.Reviews and approves payroll for direct reports.
