About Dexcom's Summer Intern Program:

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom's U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country.Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of "Game Changers" based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization. We are excited to welcome our next class of Game Changers for summer 2025!

Internship Department Details:

• Department Name: Technology Evaluation Team
• Business Function: The Technology Evaluation Team drives and supports efforts surrounding the demonstration of early-stage technologies through the generation of empirical data and modeling.
• Team Highlights: This is a small team with a big impact as it plays a major role in determining the investments that Dexcom should be making towards strategic initiatives that will help align the business for success.

Where you come in:

• You will design, set up, plan, and perform, electrical, mechanical, and/or related experiments in the lab.
• You will bring skills that can be employed to design, fabricate, document, and troubleshoot, new test fixtures and equipment.
• You will analyze experimental data using best statistical practices to understand technology trade-offs.

What makes you successful:

• You are comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
• You have a good understanding of rapid prototyping and mechanical design.
• You are familiar with common benchtop electrical equipment such as DAQs, multimeters, and microcontrollers.
• You have the ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Intern I

• Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
• Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Non-Exempt Salary Details:

Intern I

The annualized base salary range for this role is $22.00 to $29.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
