Volt is immediately hiring Lead Machine Operator in Santa Clarita, Ca

As a Lead Machine Operator you will:
- Lead and train a team of encapsulation operators.
- Coordinate encapsulation activities to meet production schedules.
- Set up and calibrate encapsulation equipment.
- Monitor processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Assurance teams.
- Conduct regular product inspections.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Promote a safe working environment.
This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.
Shift Hours 5am-2pm
Pay Rate: $26-29/hr
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3-5 years as a machine operator on encapsulation equipment, with 2 years in a lead or supervisory role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or dietary supplement industry.
- Strong understanding of encapsulation equipment and processes, knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, detail-oriented, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
