Missouri American Water is seeking a health and safety professional to join our team in Joplin, MO. As the Health and Safety Lead for the southwest region, you will be responsible for motivating and influencing operational teams to be champions for safety. Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to, monitoring and addressing near misses, inspecting contractors and internal crews, inspecting job sites, as well as coaching and training employees. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the utility and/or contruction space and will have strong health and safety knowledge.
Primary Role
Develops and implements delivery and verification of enterprise health and safety programs aligned with Company policy, practices and procedures. This position will work closely with all management levels to assure policies and programs are effectively developed, implemented, communicated and supported throughout the enterprise.
