You will play an integral part in owning Comar University (our learning system) and leading the charge for training and development of our workforce. As such, we are seeking a dynamic, forward looking, results-oriented, roll up your sleeves Learning & Development Manager.
THE ROLE
· Bring a passion for development and the facilitation of growth.
· Assess, recommend, and deploy development strategies and training across the organization.
· Partner closely with leaders across the organization to understand and anticipate training and development needs.
· Utilize experience and training tools developed over time in your career to aid in the training and development of our workforce.
· Quickly gain credibility with leaders by being a true partner and giving best in-class service to help develop their talent.
· Explore best practices and recommend practical and innovative solutions.
· Design, deploy, and constantly improve the processes to identify training needs, transition content into the learning management system, deliver training content or programs, and measure the quantity, quality, cost, as well as outcome of training for individual employees and for the business.
· Manage training metrics and reporting to track compliance and progress in assigned training.
· Implement and maintain technology required to deliver training, professional development, and provide employees across the organization access through technology.
· Other related duties as assigned.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, IT, Management, Learning Systems or a related discipline.
· A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Business, HR with direct responsibility for L&D, Training and Learning Management Systems.
· Experience working in a diverse manufacturing environment with Quality requirements
Preferred:
· Experience working in a decentralized, matrixed workforce.
· Experience with LMS and Training in a Manufacturing, multi-site environment.
· ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485, Quality, Safety and Food Safety Training experience.
· Business or HR related Master’s Degree.

· Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
· Ability to quickly understand the company’s financial environment, budgeting, and Return-on-Investment (ROI).
· Highly developed interpersonal skills and approachable demeanor.
· Enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
