Responsibilities

This position will be remote working with the OLLI Advisory Board and OLLI at FSU Tallahassee. Working as a direct report to the Associate Dean of Student & Strategic Initiatives at FSU Panama City and as a liaison to the OLLI Director at FSU Tallahassee, the Learning Coordinator will perform the following duties:

  • Assist the Associate Dean/OLLI Director in the planning and implementation of events relating to program orientations and informational sessions.
  • Supervise the Outreach Specialist or Marketing Specialist.
  • Work closely with volunteers and the Advisory Council for OLLI at PC30A.
  • Assist the Associate Dean/OLLI Director in creating and implementing an educational curriculum for OLLI at PC30A, including securing instructors, using DocuSign, writing course descriptions, scheduling classes within OLLI at PC30A framework and additional duties.
  • Assist the Associate Dean/OLLI Director in developing community resources for OLLI at PC30A.
  • Assists in establishing external agreements with course and program locations (OLLI Director is signatory on all contracts pertaining to OLLI operations).
  • Assist in maintaining membership files, tracking program progress, and providing detailed reports.
  • Assists the Associate Dean/OLLI Director in marketing content and updates for the PC website as well providing social media content where applicable.
  • Assist in researching grant or funding sources to supplement OLLI budget and making application when appropriate.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field plus three years related work experience to include but not limited to business, sales, and/or instruction of students.
  • Skilled in program development, evaluation, curriculum, and proposal writing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in recruitment, business, and/or related field.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated competencies with PCs and associated software and be able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organizational and planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of work experience in a higher education environment including some in Continuing Education.
  • Sales experience.

Anticipated Salary Range

$22 / hour
