Life Science Research Professional 2🔍School of Medicine, Stanford, California, United States📁Research📅Sep 25, 2024 Post Date📅104703 Requisition #Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 2 to perform more complex functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct a portion of the research project(s).This opportunity is available in the Meister Lab, Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (onsite only). The LSRP 2 will be responsible for an assigned set of lab experiments relating the development of preclinical models to study the interaction between environmental pollutants (such as nano/microplastics) and pediatric health (such as the immune system and the endocrine system). The Meister lab also studies thyroid disease, and this position may have projects overlapping with thyroid pathology such as Graves' disease and thyroid cancer.The candidate will have opportunities to contribute meaningfully to research projects and the potential for their contributions to be recognized on manuscripts disseminated from the lab. Collaborations have been established and the lab will coordinate meetings with other groups to develop and complete projects. We anticipate collaborations with the Doerr School, Engineering, Public Health, and the Woods Institute.
