Position starts at $17.15. We currently have open positions for various Machine Operator positions that applicants may be considered for.

Job Duties:

• Required to operate touch illustrated operating panel, safeties, and switches.
  
• Small mechanical adjustments.
  
• Use handheld scanner.
  
• Required to set up and tear down area at the beginning and end of processing.
  
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
  
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  
• May need to operate forklift.
  
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF
  
• Requirements. May use SAP if transferred /rotated.
  
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  
• Must be able to read and write.
  
• Computer skills (if applicable).
  
• Attention to detail.
  
• Ability to solve simple math.
  
• Lock out Training is required.
  
• Must be able to become Forklift Certified (if applicable).
  
• Must be willing to take and pass various tests regarding safety and food safety practices.
  
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to lift 20-67lbs occasionally and hold 5-77lbs continuously.
  
• Must be willing and able to push and pull rack on rail system ranging from 65lbs up to 1400lbs.
  
• Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 77lbs.
  
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion of the shoulders, arms, and hands with up to 50 repetitions per minute.
  
• Must be able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies.
  
• Must be able to work with different spices.
  
• Must be able to work in cold and damp environments (22-40°F temperatures) for 8-10 hours per day.
  
• The Team member will stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day.
  
• Must be able to bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the day.
  
• Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
  
• Must be able to work with both hands and arms simultaneously throughout the day.
  
• Must be able to use hand, fingers, and wrist to grasp, pull, and flex.
  
• Must be able to use handheld scanner.
  
• Must be able to climb step ladders and or stairs.
  

Requirements:

• Must have 3 months of work experience.
  

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
