Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
Position Title: Material Handling Maintenance Supervisor

Summary: Oversees the maintenance and repair of all material handling equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility. Responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Leads and motivates a team of maintenance technicians.
• Manages performance, addresses disciplinary issues, and conducts performance reviews.
• Oversees hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs for material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues on conveyors, forklifts, palletizers, and other equipment.
• Oversees the installation and commissioning of new material handling equipment.
• Manages inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Collaborates with production and engineering teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or manufacturing plant environment.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and other potential hazards.
