Job Purpose:
Our Senior Project Manager of Kitting will lead and/or participate in a variety of strategic domestic and international initiatives and projects for an assigned area of responsibility. With the goals of driving significant value through revenue growth, this position will streamline operations, enhance collaboration and deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to support our client's global objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage client's projects related to both Domestic and International markets ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met,
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Oversee project workflows, from concept to delivery, maintaining a strong focus on precision and client satisfaction.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Manage project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques and manage budgets and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Act as the primary liaison with assigned customer's domestic and international teams, including Asia, EU, and Mexico, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges and ensure all projects align with client's brand and operational standards.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Onboard new suppliers that align with Sephora's sustainability goals and standards and collaborate with suppliers to resolve timing and budget constraints proactively.
• Develop out-of-the-box solutions to complex challenges, focusing on efficiency, creativity, and sustainability and drive innovation in packaging, sourcing, and project management processes.
• Proactively implement and advocate for sustainable practices across all projects and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve environmentally responsible solutions that support client's sustainability initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
• Must have minimum 7-10 years in project management, with a strong preference for print and packaging production experience in retail/consumer products/packaged goods. Previous international project experience is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in supplier relations and strategic sourcing.
• Strategic problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and an ability to implement them effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage relationships across global teams with commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
Salary range: $103,800 - $120,000
Work Experience:
• 5-10 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• A thorough understanding of distribution management (customer service, sales, purchasing, warehouse, credit, information systems, and logistics) that is preferably from a large, national, or decentralized organization.
• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
• Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.
• Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.
• Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
• Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
• Strong planning and organization skills are required.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
